You’ll find Gilbies Bar & Bistro in the heart of Hereford city centre, tucked away beneath the spire of St Peter’s Church.

Don’t be fooled by the alleyway entrance - it opens out in to a beautiful courtyard, hidden from the hustle & bustle.

We’ve been here in this cosy courtyard setting for thirty years – and since 2016, a new team has been running the show.

Owners Rob and Hayley (and their young daughter) recently returned to the area from Bristol to their home town of Hereford.

We serve everything from tasty tapas and hand-picked wines, to flatbreads and fresh coffee – and we’ve created a relaxed environment for you to enjoy at any time of day. 

We cater for a range of party sizes, and have also catered for a number of wedding

parties, so please call us to discuss bespoke menus or buffets, in addition to our usual menus.

You're more than welcome to bring your dogs into the bar and courtyard area.
